President Dineke de Groot was appointed First President of the Supreme Court of Cassation of Netherlands on 1 November 2020. She succeed Maarten Feteris, who, after six years in the Presidency, return to full office in the Tax Chamber. It is customary for the First President to hold the office of President for a maximum period of six years.
